Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through the patient's skin at specific points on the body - the needles are inserted to various depths. The medical community is not in conclusive agreement about how acupuncture works scientifically. However, we do know that it does have some therapeutic benefits, including pain relief and alleviation from nausea caused by chemotherapy.

REFLECTION: I wouldn’t like to be one because it looks like a difficult job to do because u got to know where to put the needles and where not to.

My two weeks of adventure is when i first came to HPIAM when i was a sophmore. One of my favorite classes are p.e, Psychology, and World History.

                                                            Optician

Duties and Responsibilities: An optician is trained to dispense and fit spectacles and other optical aids. Prescriptions are written by optometrists and ophthalmologists. Opticians advise their patients on various types of lenses and frames, advice on style, weight and color. They tell patients how to wear and care for the spectacles and further training as contact lenses.

Salary: $21,725 - $48,843

Education: Opticians need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in optcianry.

Reflection: I wouldn’t like to be an optician because it just seems to boring to deal with that. They make a good amount of money but I wouldn’t put up for it.
