Healthcare Administrator
Duties and responsibilities:
Health administration or healthcare
administration is the field
relating to leadership, management, and administration of public health systems, health care systems, hospitals, and hospital
networks. Health care
administrators are considered health care professionals.
Salary: 64,821
annually
Education: A bachelor’s degree (four
years) is the typical entry-level preparation needed for health care
administration jobs. Some employers, however, will promote from within or hire
other professionals with related experience (such as nurses) who are ideal for
an administrative role because of their direct health care knowledge
Reflection: (Do you think you would like to
be one? Why or Why not?)
I would not
want to be a Healthcare Administrator. The reason why I would not want to be a
Healthcare provider is because I do not see college in my future. It would be a
possibility if I were to get a job and save up for college but at this rate im
still not even allowed out the house, other than when I am going to school.
